The Story Behind the Ministry

Walking Alongside Hurting Hearts

For more than 15 years, I've had the sacred privilege of sitting with mothers in their most vulnerable moments. This ministry was born from those conversations.

About the Author

Minister Ronnie Glass

I'm a 63-year-old minister who has spent a lifetime walking alongside families through their most challenging seasons. Over the years, I've developed deep relationships with countless women—mothers who were navigating the heartbreak of watching their adult children struggle.

These weren't formal counseling sessions. They were real conversations— the kind that happen on front porches, in living rooms, and in church hallways after everyone else has gone home.

I listened to their prayers, witnessed their tears, and watched their faith be tested in ways that only a parent can understand. And through it all, I saw something remarkable: these mothers never stopped believing, never stopped praying, never stopped loving.

“Walking in Wisdom” was born from those sacred conversations. It's the wisdom I've gleaned from hundreds of praying mothers—distilled into a guide for anyone walking this same road.

Where It All Began

The Front Porch Conversations

Some of the most profound ministry happens outside the sanctuary walls.

Honest Conversations

Real talk about real struggles. No judgment, no pretense—just two people seeking God's wisdom together.

Shared Tears

Sometimes words aren't enough. Sometimes presence is the ministry. I've learned to sit in the pain alongside hurting mothers.

Biblical Wisdom

Every conversation pointed back to Scripture. Not as a quick fix, but as a foundation for enduring hope.

The Heart of This Ministry

Why I Wrote This Book

After years of these conversations, I realized that the wisdom these mothers shared with me—and the wisdom I shared with them—needed to reach beyond our small circles.

There are mothers everywhere who feel alone in their struggle. They need to know they're not. They need practical guidance rooted in faith. They need permission to love differently without loving less.

This isn't about letting go completely—it's about learning to trust God more deeply, set healthy boundaries with love, and walk forward in wisdom rather than fear.

Rooted in Community

Crystal View Now is an extension of the ministry at El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where 300+ Prayer Warriors gather to intercede for their families and community.

This community understands what it means to pray without ceasing, to hold onto hope when circumstances say otherwise, and to trust God with the ones we love most.
